Bubi Milling Centre

Project Description

The Bubi Small Scale Miners Association, in partnership with the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation (ZMDC), established a Gold Milling Centre known as the Bubi Service Centre in the Bubi area of Matabeleland North Province. The centre was officially commissioned by the Government of Zimbabwe in July 2018. Funding for the establishment of the facility was provided by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ). The service centre was developed to support small-scale miners through access to modern gold milling and processing services.

Makaha Milling Centre

Project Description

The Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation (ZMDC), established a Gold Milling Centre known as the Makaha Service Centre in the Makaha. The project was implemented with financial support from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) and forms part of the Government of Zimbabwe’s initiative to strengthen and formalise small-scale gold mining operations. The centre provides miners with improved access to efficient and compliant gold milling and processing services.

Mukaradzi Milling Centre

Project Description

The Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation (ZMDC), set up a Gold Milling Centre referred to as the Mukaradzi Service Centre in the Mukaradzi area. The project was funded by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) and implemented under the Government of Zimbabwe’s small-scale mining development programme. The service centre aims to enhance gold recovery, promote safer mining practices, and support sustainable livelihoods for local miners.
